Swing through ancient ruins
Hold to hook. Release to fly. Reach higher through the floating ruins.
Relic Ascent is a portrait-mode grappling game for iPhone. Hook your wire onto anchors in floating ancient ruins, then use its reeling action and elastic pull to climb.
Every leap depends on when you let go. Keep your momentum flowing from one swing to the next and beat your highest climb.

Hang from a short wire to take a break. Drop and rehook to build speed, then use the elastic rebound to launch yourself higher.
Anchors spread farther apart as you climb. Some begin to sink shortly after you hook onto them, so choose your next anchor carefully.
Challenge the worldwide Game Center leaderboard. Height comes first; for the same height, the faster time to first reach it wins.
1. Hold to hook
Hold one of the three direction buttons to extend your wire toward an anchor. Once it catches, the wire automatically reels in.
2. Release to fly
Let go as you accelerate upward, then fire toward the next anchor while airborne. You cannot stand on the ruins, so keep hooking your wire to climb.
3. Rehook to go higher
From a hanging position, let go, drop a little, and rehook the same anchor to build momentum. Fall too far below your highest point and the run ends.
The game works offline. Viewing leaderboards and posting scores require a Game Center sign-in and an internet connection. Available in English and Japanese.
